April 12 @ 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

The 49th Annual Superior Plumbing Kennesaw/Big Shanty Festival, sponsored by the Kennesaw Business Association in cooperation with the City of Kennesaw, will take place with Superior Plumbing as the title sponsor, along with presenting sponsors A1 Shredding & Recycling, Emerson Home Services, Georgia Grown, LGE Community Credit Union and Window World. This beloved event features over 250 arts and crafts booths, 25 food booths serving all your favorite fair foods, an entertainment stage and a variety of kids’ activities. Additionally, live acoustic music will fill the Food Court throughout the weekend. Returning this year is the Georgia Grown Member Village, showcasing goods and products from across Georgia.

The festival will run on Saturday, April 12, from 10 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday, April 13, from 12 PM to 5 PM in Downtown Kennesaw. To get there, take Exit #273 on I-75, head west on Wade Green Road for approximately two miles, and you’ll arrive at the festival grounds. Admission is free and free shuttles will run between Swift-Cantrell Park and the festival grounds during event hours both Saturday and Sunday. Additional parking is available at Adams Park, Kennesaw First Baptist Church and Swift-Cantrell Park.

Entertainment highlights include Peter Hart of Atlanta Puppetry, who will captivate audiences with his unique marionettes and puppet characters. These puppets will sing, dance, juggle, play the fiddle, break apart and come back together, squirt water and even get launched by catapult across the stage!

New for 2025, the Ready Go Dog Show at the United Bankshares Amphitheater will feature world champion frisbee-catching dogs performing high-flying tricks. Stay after the show for a chance to meet these amazing pups up close. In addition, Scott Thompson of Peachtree Station will be performing acoustic music at the 1885 Grill food court and there will be more live music at the United Bankshares Amphitheater. Throughout the weekend, local performance and dance groups, school choirs and acoustic acts will take the stage at the south end of Main Street, ensuring there’s entertainment for everyone in the family.
