KENNESAW, Ga. (May 23, 2025) — The City of Kennesaw will host its annual Independence Day celebration of freedom, music and fireworks on Thursday, July 3, from 6 to 10 p.m. in Downtown Kennesaw. Admission is free.
Salute to America will feature live music, food vendors and family-friendly activities. The evening will conclude with a fireworks finale at 9:30 p.m., visible along Main Street.
Live music from the United Bankshares Amphitheater at Depot Park will be headlined by Guardians of the Jukebox at 8 p.m., with Girls Night Out performing at 7 p.m. and Tripp’n kicking things off at 6 p.m.
In addition to street vendors and sponsor booths, the event will offer ticketed inflatable amusements for children. A wide variety of entrées, cold beverages and snacks will be available for purchase. Guests are welcome to bring picnic baskets or coolers; however, grills and coolers larger than 20 quarts are not permitted. Attendees are encouraged to review full park and amphitheater guidelines, including seating rules and prohibited items, at www.amphitheateratdepotpark.com.
Reserved seating is available for $20 per chair on the second-tier level of the turf. Seating is limited, assigned randomly and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Chair reservations can be made online at www.kennesawjuly3.com.

Kennesaw city parks are designated “Breathe Easy Zones,” where tobacco products, smoking and e-cigarettes are prohibited. The event may be canceled or postponed due to inclement weather.
