Adams Park, a vibrant 33-acre community space nestled near the intersection of Watts Drive and US-41/Cobb Parkway, offers a fantastic blend of active and passive recreation for all ages. Located at 2600 Park Drive, this park features top-notch amenities including six lighted baseball fields, four lighted softball fields, two tennis courts/four pickleball courts, a playground, picnic pavilions, a half-mile concrete trail, indoor and outdoor batting cages, concession buildings and a Wi-Fi hotspot to stay connected.
At the heart of Adams Park is the Recreation Center, a 42,000-square-foot facility boasting three multi-sport courts, a gymnastics center, a walking track, two fitness rooms and office space. Open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, the Recreation Center is located at 2737 Watts Drive.
Also located within Adams Park is the Ben Robertson Community Center at 2753 Watts Drive, offering flexible event spaces for a variety of gatherings. With a spacious 3,952-square-foot banquet hall that accommodates up to 250 guests in theater-style seating or 200 for banquets, the center is ideal for large meetings or intimate events. The center also features two smaller 840-square-foot meeting rooms, a pre-function lobby and a porte-cochere for a welcoming entrance. The Community Center houses the administrative offices for the City of Kennesaw Parks & Recreation Department and offers a range of community programs in its fitness room, ceramics studio, craft and painting labs and three dance studios. The center is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Kennesaw residents are also encouraged to take advantage of the park’s scenic walking trails, perfect for gentle, low-impact exercise. Walking is one of the body’s most natural forms of activity, providing endless health benefits while enjoying the beauty of the city’s green spaces.
