African American History Month

February 7 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Each Saturday brings a new story to discover during African American History Month! On February 7, experience history up close with Musketry Demonstrations and a Life of a Soldier hands on education table.

Visit the education table in the Jolley to explore a soldier’s daily life, then head to the front lawn at 10:30, 11:30, and 12:30 for live musketry demonstrations.

Throughout the day, uniformed interpreters will share powerful insights into the role of African American soldiers in the Union Army during the Civil War.

Included with Museum admission and free for members. No registration required.
