Decoration Day

On May 4, 2024, the Cemetery Preservation Commission will host the 18th annual Decoration Day at the Kennesaw City Cemetery. To honor those who reside in the cemetery, we will work together as a community to clean headstones, gravesites and grounds. This is also a great opportunity for families to refresh any wilted or faded flowers on gravesites. The Kennesaw City Cemetery is eight acres of burial grounds that provide a beautiful and peaceful setting for visitors to remember loved ones. Please join us Saturday, May 4 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM for Decoration Day! Limited cleaning supplies will be provided. Please bring your own gloves.
