Fall Break at the Southern Museum

Join us for an exciting Fall Break program at the Southern Museum, where we’ll learn about community helpers and the important jobs they do every day!

On Sept. 24, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, drop in for “Tickets Please” and learn about the heroes of public transit! Enjoy a fun craft and info table spotlighting today’s MARTA and Amtrak workers.

On Sept. 25, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, features a special “Mommy and Me” program, with “Fire Safety” partnered with Cobb County Fire Department. Discover what tools firefighters use to keep themselves safe when fighting fires.

Finally, on Sept. 26, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Discover the “Archivist: The Librarian of the Museum”. Meet the museum’s librarian, our archivist! Enjoy a fun storytime and a brief tour of the Reading Room.

Don’t miss this fun and educational week for the entire family! This program is included in admission.
