Garden Learning Series:
Putting Your Garden to Bed
Join us on Saturday, September 21, from 10 – 11:30 AM for our first Garden Learning Series workshop. Fall is around the corner and temperatures will begin to drop. Have you prepared your garden for the conditions ahead? Do you know where to start? This is a class all about preparing your garden for the upcoming winter, while we are in late summer going into fall. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of winterizing your garden space. We will discuss pruning, soil testing, soil remediation, how to support pollinators and perennials over the winter and more! For class, please wear garden work clothes and closed toe shoes. This workshop is led by our Horticulture Tech, Robert Davis.
This workshop will be meeting at the Ben Robertson Community Center and will not be meeting at the Gardens.
The cost is $25 for non-members, $15 for members (please contact us for the code).
