Kennesaw Concert Series

The City of Kennesaw is excited to continue the Kennesaw Concert Series, sponsored by Wellstar Health System, at The Piedmont Bank Amphitheater on November 9. The November 9 concert, starting at 1:30 PM, will feature G Clef and the Playlist and the Georgia Symphony Orchestra Jazz Ensemble.

G Clef and the Playlist specializes in a broad range of musical genres, including Pop, Rock, R&B, and Hip-hop. Their performances span iconic classics such as Motown, Beach music and Earth, Wind & Fire, as well as contemporary hits that are universally loved. What distinguishes them is their extensive and diverse repertoire, featuring selections not commonly performed by other bands. From Prince to Hootie & the Blowfish, Barry White to Maroon 5, Hall & Oates to Simple Minds, INXS to 50 Cent, Talking Heads and Metallica.

For seventy-four years, the Georgia Symphony Orchestra has engaged audiences through imaginative programming, visionary leadership, and critically acclaimed performances. Their mission is to break down access barriers to ensure that the transformative power of music serves all members of our community. The GSO enriches lives and creates impact far beyond the concert hall through innovative and engaging performances, world-class educational programs, and intentional community engagement. 

The Piedmont Bank Amphitheater at Depot Park is located at 2828 Cherokee Street, across from the Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History. During major City events at Depot Park, Cherokee Street will be closed from Main Street to Big Shanty Drive. Public parking will NOT be available at Depot Park for City events. Limited handicap parking will be available at Depot Park. Free public parking will be available at Adams Park & the Ben Robertson Community Center, along Lewis Street between North Main Street & Dallas Street, behind Revival on Main and the first floor of the parking deck at Revival on Main.
