Touch-A-Truck Expo
The City of Kennesaw’s Parks & Recreation, Public Works, and Police Departments are excited to bring back Touch-A-Truck, the annual educational and hands-on community event, on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Adams Park.
Children and families can get up-close and personal with larger-than-life trucks, heavy construction and public safety equipment, cool cars and specialty vehicles. Attendees can meet vehicle owners and operators while touching, climbing on and exploring this exciting exhibition of transportation. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Admission is free.
The Department of Parks & Recreation is seeking unique vehicles for display. Interested parties can complete the online application at https://secure.rec1.com/GA/kennesaw-ga/catalog?filter=c2VhcmNoPTM5Njc0Nzg=.
In conjunction with Touch-A-Truck, the City of Kennesaw’s Parks & Recreation Department will also be hosting an open-house style event for the community to learn about the summer camps available through Kennesaw Parks & Recreation. This year, it will be held inside the Kennesaw Recreation Center. Kennesaw Parks & Recreation hosts a variety of camps on-site including Camp Venture, Kennesaw Parks & Recreations’ Summer Day Camp for grades first through fifth and the Kennesaw Teen Academy for grades sixth through eighth. Camp instructors will be on-site so attendees can meet them and learn more about the camps offered. Those who register on-site will be eligible to receive a 10% early bird discount on their registration.
Parks & Recreation Staff will also be available to discuss summer job opportunities. The City of Kennesaw will be hiring for Camp Leads and Counselors, as well as Splash Pad Leads and Attendants.
