Tour Through Time

Take a deeper dive into history and see our galleries as never before at the inaugural “Tour Through Time” event on June 7, 2025, 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM. The museum will be dotted with scenes where living historians bring exhibits alive as they move and interact with reproduction items. In addition, enjoy a variety of live music and educational displays, including:
Live Performances & Demonstrations:
• Three Rivers Fife and Drum performing outside the museum entrance
• Doug Carson with a music display and live fiddle demonstrations in the lobby
• Peachtree Handspinners showcasing historic textile techniques in the lobby
• Dalton Dulcimers: Demonstrations from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM, full performance from 1:00 – 1:40 PM
Special Guest Appearance:
• Park Ranger James Pratt from Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield will be onsite to discuss civilian life during the Civil War and answer questions at his educational display table.
