Wreaths Across America

Join the Kennesaw City Cemetery, an official Wreaths Across America (WAA) location, the Kennesaw Mountain Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) and the Cemetery Preservation Commission for a wreath-laying ceremony, joining more than 4,700 other locations across the country and abroad for National Wreaths Across America Day on Saturday, December 14, at 12:00 PM. Coordinated and led by local volunteers, sponsorship groups have raised funds throughout the year to sponsor the placement of veterans’ wreaths on the headstones of our fallen service members laid to rest at the cemetery. This annual event seeks to further the year long mission to Remember, Honor, Teach, ensuring that the memory of those who served our country endures.
